Cheng Xiaoshi enters a photograph from client Chen Xiao’s high-school days to deliver words he never shared with his basketball teammates. When an accident forces him into a crucial match that could determine the club’s future, Cheng must resist his competitive instincts and obey Lu Guang’s strict instruction: lose the game, no matter what.

After accidentally changing the outcome of Chen Xiao’s basketball game, Cheng Xiaoshi continues delivering his client’s long-unspoken messages to friends and family. As the mission proceeds almost too smoothly, a troubling realization about the date reveals that something far more serious is approaching.

Refusing to give up, he asks Lu Guang to help save Chen Xiao’s mother as the two confront the painful limits of changing the past.

A desperate father asks the Time Photo Studio to investigate the disappearance of his young son, Doudou, who vanished three years earlier. Despite the emotional toll of his previous mission, Cheng Xiaoshi enters surveillance footage from the day of the abduction and attempts to trace the child without disturbing the past.

After losing sight of Doudou during their first attempt, Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang discover a photograph taken by the child on the day he vanished. Entering Doudou’s body, Cheng experiences the abduction firsthand and must identify the kidnapper and uncover his location before the twelve-hour limit expires.

Xu Shanshan asks the studio to recover what her longtime friend Dong Yi told her during a drunken university gathering. While reliving the night through her photograph, Cheng Xiaoshi notices something unsettling and becomes distracted from the original assignment, drawing him into a mystery that may be more dangerous than it first appears.

After a disturbing call from Xu Shanshan’s phone leaves her unreachable, Cheng Xiaoshi, Lu Guang and Qiao Ling fear she may be in danger. While Lu Guang seeks help from the police, Cheng discovers a photograph connected to the case and impulsively dives into it alone, hoping to uncover the truth before it is too late.

With Xu Shanshan still missing, Cheng Xiaoshi, Lu Guang and Qiao Ling begin searching for clues on their own. When a photograph connected to her disappearance offers a possible lead, Cheng ignores Lu Guang’s warning and enters the image, determined to uncover what happened before the situation grows even more dangerous.

Cheng Xiaoshi puts a dangerous plan into motion to expose the person threatening those around the studio. As the confrontation unfolds, Emma’s unresolved fate continues to haunt him, leading him back into the past for one final attempt to reach her—while an unseen danger remains closer than anyone realizes.
